Jakobus was an apostle. His grave is in Santiago de Compostela, the destination of many pilgrims in Spain. He is depicted as a pilgrim with a pilgrim's shell and a bag. Remembrance day is July 25th. He is the patron saint of the weather, the workers, the pharmacists.
