In 1570 Robert Bellarmin was ordained a priest and then worked as a theology professor and preacher in Leuven. In 1576 Robert Bellarmin became professor at the College of the Jesuits in Rome. His work Small Catechism reached 400 editions and was translated into 60 languages.
